plasticlogicCEO Richard Archuleta product manager Anusha Nirmalananthan onstage.  The pitch: Plastic Logic e-reader is designed for business use.

This was an interesting “kindle-like” device.  Flatter with a larger screen.  No keyboard (very much like a huge Apple iTouch made out of plastic – but with a black and white display – color will come a year or so later…)

The prototype was slow but it showed promise.  The user interface was pretty well designed.  The “plastic transistor” technology was a key factor in the development of this technology.

The technology is targeting the business market where the kindle and e-Reader have been targeting the consumer market.
